The best part about heading up to Montville is the drive, it goes without saying. A client wants a cottage complete with dormers. Was there a challenge? Yes. With amazing views for this for this sloping block a decision had to be made. Where do you live? Up or down? Do you wake to the view of live with the view?
A sloping block in Augustine Heights. The block is blessed with seven metres of upward slope. The solution was two storey design at the front with an elevated section at the back. The North East facing front deck is positioned capture the bush views.

Not even the classic Northside bush watering hole can distract from the great views the Samford Valley offers. This is a place the smart and lucky few call home. This split level design deals with three metres of block fall features modern open plan living.
This is a  concept design for a client with a downward sloping block. Driving in from the street the detached garage is linked to the upper floor which has a separate living space and the main bedroom. The two level home captures the views of the valley below from the spacious deck.
Drawing inspiration from the classic beach house design revival. This Ferny Hills home has it all. This split level home has open plan living and features two decks to offer outdoor BBQ and capture peaceful bush views.
